White Christmas - Irving Berlin

White Christmas - Irving Berlin

Irving Berlin (Bielorrusia 1888 – Nueva York 1989) was a composer and lyricist of Broadway, naturalized American, and one of the most prolific and famous in contemporary American history.

Although he never learned to read music beyond an elementary level, he composed around 3,000 songs (other sources estimate 900 songs), many of which became popular songs and patriotic anthems such as "God Bless America." All of them left an indelible mark on American music and culture.
